Every Encounter With A Child Is Holy
When any situation arises which tempts you to become disturbed. . . . say: There is another way of looking at this.
I can see peace instead of this. I see through the eyes of forgiveness.
A Course in Miracles
Our journey with our son with autism has become a catalyst that has deepened our commitment to live every moment of our lives with inner peace.
Sharon Hart
Remember, any encounter with your child is a holy encounter, especially those moments that push us into the depths of despair. It is how we choose to ultimately handle those moments that either mire us in the “why me syndrome” or sets us free. There is always a blessing in every difficult or challenging situation. It may take awhile to see. You may desperately want to feel it immediately. Trust it will come. If you expect it, you will find it and sorrow will turn to joy. If you ask, the Holy Spirit will show you the way.
